My name is Duke. I was named after the big Duke, John Wayne. We both are very big and brave. I’m about 100 lbs. and I can take care of anyone that might need taken care of. Just kidding, I’m very gentle. However, I must look mean, because for some reason prospective new parents just seem to pass me by without even giving me a second look. I’ve been here since 2002 and I really, really want to be adopted. I promise, I’ll be the best bear, I mean dog, you’ll ever hope to have.
