My name is Abbey. There is no hiding my feelings. My picture says it all. I have deep soulful eyes that tell a lot about the loneliness and shyness that I feel. Even in the sea of faces here at the shelter, I feel very alone. I want to know the love and comfort of a real home with someone to love me as much as I love them. Most people are looking to adopt a puppy or young dog, which I'm not. I am an official member of the senior class. Few people know just how great adopting an older dog is. The old adage of "can't teach an old dog new tricks" isn't true. I beg of you to open your mind, heart and home to an older dog such as myself.
